In October, I joined Twitter in an effort to share job and internship leads with Hofstra students and alumni. Around that time, I realized that a stand alone aggregate website would be a fantastic resource for members of the Hofstra Community and lots of other young creatives. As I began doing research I found that in the United States alone hundreds of new job and internship opportunities are made available in the fields of media, communications and the arts. That fact intensified my desire to create a comprehensive destination making many of those opportunities just a click away. After months of working on the project, I was extremely proud to launch the website for MEOjobs on July 1st. My hope is that the site, along with its related social media, will make the job search process that much simpler for all current, former, and future Herbert School of Communication students!
